Products
Are these really the products you use on customers’ cars?
Yes. Every product in the Powerhouse Car Wash and on the mobile units is on the shelf in this shop — same formula, same bottle. If it isn’t good enough for a paying customer’s car in our bay, we don’t sell it.
Is the interior range actually non-toxic?
The interior range uses plant-based, non-toxic formulas, and every claim is backed by the blender’s Safety Data Sheet. You can see ingredients and safety notes for each product on our Ingredients & Safety page, and request the full SDS.
Will Pure Wash strip my wax or ceramic coating?
No. Pure Wash is pH-neutral and built to leave waxes, sealants and coatings untouched. Avoid dishwashing liquid — that is what strips protection.
Is ozone safe?
Ozone is safe when used properly and harmful if breathed. Only run a generator in an empty space — no people, pets or plants — on a timer, then leave it closed to dwell and air out fully before use. Our ozone guide covers the full protocol. Ozone treats odours; it is not a medical treatment.
Does it work with Joburg’s hard water?
Our shampoo and foam contain chelating agents that cope with hard water, and Ceramic Shield makes water bead off before it can dry into spots. Dry the car straight after rinsing — never let it air-dry in the sun.
Orders & delivery
How fast is delivery?
We ship nationwide with The Courier Guy — usually 1–2 working days in Gauteng and 2–4 elsewhere. Delivery is R99, free over R750. Click & collect and mobile-unit drop-off are free.
How can I pay?
PayFast (card, Instant EFT, SnapScan and more), Yoco card payments, or a manual EFT straight into our account. All prices include VAT.
Can I return a product?
Unopened products can be returned within 30 days. If something arrives damaged or isn’t right, WhatsApp us a photo and we’ll sort it. See our Returns page for the details.
Car wash & mobile
Where is the Powerhouse Car Wash?
Bay 1 is planned for north-west Johannesburg — we’re scouting the Cosmo City / Northgate area. Join the waitlist and vote for your suburb; Founding Members get first booking when we open.
What is the Founding Member pass?
A limited pre-sale: 12 Signature Hand Washes plus a Starter Wash Kit (R1 299 value) for R2 499. Right now it is a reservation only — no payment is taken until we confirm the venue and opening date.
When will mobile come to my suburb?
Mobile runs on suburb routes. Once 20 households in a suburb sign up, that route goes live and we contact everyone on it to book. Share the page with your neighbours or your complex WhatsApp group to get there faster.
Rewards
How do loyalty points work?
One account covers the shop and the car wash. You earn 1 point per R10 spent in the shop and 25 points per wash. 250 points unlocks a free wash, or redeem points against shop orders.

Subscribe to the products you use up — shampoo, foam, interior cleaner — and get 10% off every delivery. Choose how often it ships, skip or cancel any time from your account.
